Our story
PastRouteBook started with a simple idea: what if there were a better way to remember everywhere you’ve been?
For years, I documented my travels in a Word document. I recorded flights I’d taken, cruises I’d sailed, and road trips across Europe. I pasted in maps of the routes I’d driven and added photos of landmarks I’d visited. It was my personal travel journal, filled with memories and experiences I never wanted to forget.
But I always imagined something more.
I dreamed of having all those journeys brought together in one place: a way to see my travels on interactive maps, organize them by trip, and look back at the bigger picture. How many flights had I taken? How many cruises had I been on? How many incredible places had I explored?
I wanted more than just a list of destinations. I wanted to see the story of my travels come to life.
And that’s how PastRouteBook was born.
What began as a personal website built to organize my own travel memories gradually evolved into something bigger: an app designed for travellers everywhere.
Today, PastRouteBook is about helping you capture your journeys, explore your travel history, discover your personal travel statistics, and revisit the experiences that made each adventure memorable.
Whether you’re a frequent flyer, a cruise enthusiast, a road-trip adventurer, or someone who simply loves discovering new places, I hope PastRouteBook becomes a meaningful part of your travel story.
And we’re just getting started.
PastRouteBook continues to grow and improve, and your feedback is an important part of that journey. We’re always open to suggestions, new ideas, and ways to make the app better, because we believe everyone should be able to track and remember their travels in a way that works for them.
Thank you for being part of the PastRouteBook journey.
Here’s to everywhere you’ve been — and everywhere you’ll go next.

One history, many ways of travelling
Flights, cruises, trains, ferries, drives, buses, stays and attractions can belong to the same trip instead of being separated across single-purpose apps.
Built for revisiting
Maps, timelines, passport stamps and transport statistics make a saved trip useful after the journey has ended.
Privacy and data controls
PastRouteBook explains its data handling in a public privacy policy. Account holders can review and edit their information in the app, request applicable privacy rights, and delete an account through the published account-deletion process.
- First-party Analytics and Crashlytics collection is off by default and requires a separate choice in the iPhone app.
- Advertising consent and optional analytics are separate controls.
- You can contact support about access, correction, export or deletion requests.
- Private travel history is not presented as a public social profile by default.
For the complete and controlling details—including advertising providers, cloud services, retention and regional rights—read the Privacy Policy. To remove an account, use the Account Deletion guide.
How pricing works
PastRouteBook is free to download. Optional in-app purchases unlock additional statistics and features. The website does not display a fixed currency price because App Store pricing can vary by country, tax and platform. The current price and purchase terms are always shown before confirmation in the app or App Store.
The existing pricing model includes individual statistics categories as well as an optional yearly Pro choice that unlocks advanced statistics and removes ads from the main map. Purchases are handled through the platform store; there is no need to send payment-card details directly to PastRouteBook.
No inflated promises
PastRouteBook does not claim to provide live aircraft or ship positions, automatic access to every past booking, or perfect route reconstruction from incomplete information. Its purpose is to help you create a useful personal record from the travel details you choose to add.
Support from the person behind the app
Questions about the app, privacy or your account go to support@pastroutebook.com. Bug reports are most useful when they include the device model, operating-system version, the screen involved and the steps that led to the issue—without including sensitive travel or account information you do not want to share.
